Crystal Palace head coach Roy Hodgson is confident that Wilfried Zaha will not flop again, if he was to join one of the Premier League's 'big six'.
The Eagles wing-wizard has enjoyed a fruitful season with his return from injury in October leading the club to a 2-1 win over Chelsea for their first points of the campaign!
Zaha has been linked with a move away from the club in the January transfer window, and while Hodgson is confident he will remain at Selhurst Park till the end of the season - he has tipped the Ivorian will do well at his next destination.
Zaha joined Manchester United for £15 million in 2013, but never found his feet and never made a Premier League start for the Red Devils.
He duly returned to Palace and has enjoyed a season to remember.
“I’m pretty sure the confidence he has today isn’t going to evaporate — whether he continues here or elsewhere," said Zaha.
“We want that to be here, of course, and, luckily, we are in control of that situation.
“But if the day did come when Wilf decided, or the club decided they’d be obliged to let him move onto the next Manchester United on the horizon, I’m sure that he’ll be in a better position to deal with it.”
The South Londoners are unbeaten in eight games with Zaha playing a key role in their revival.
