Cape Town City have announced that they have parted company with Lehlohonolo Majoro, six months before his contract was set to expire.

The former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs forward will now start his search for a new home, following a season-and-a-half with the Citizens where he scored 11 times in 41 matches.

Majoro fell out of favour at the Mother City club in recent weeks, despite a good start to the season - he played an integral part in helping the club reach the 2017 MTN8 final.

The 31-year-old won one trophy with City, the 2016 Telkom Knockout title in Polokwane.
