Borussia Dortmund chief Reinhard Rauball believes countless transfer rumours has left star forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang 'mentally beaten'.
The Gabon international has been heavily linked with moves to Real Madrid, Chelsea and Atletico Madrid - among others - in the past with the forward himself having expressed his desire to don the colours of Los Blancos.
Aubameyang is one of the world's best strikers and has netted an incredible 141 goals in 212 games for Borussia Dortmund.
"He has done well over the years and was even the Bundesliga top scorer," Rauball told Kicker.
"Auba is pleasant, funny, he laughs. That some days he was mentally beaten by the offers – you have to understand it if you know the numbers."
Aubameyang, who has scored 21 goals in 23 games this season, recently penned a contract extension with the German giants.
