It was a beautiful New Years’ for Senegal’s Sadio Mane after finding the back of the net for Liverpool in their 2-1 English Premier League win over Burnley on January 1.
While the first half was one with numerous wasted chances in front of goal it was Mane who opened the scoring on the hour mark with a superb shot from the edge of the box.

Burnley looked to have earned a point when Johann Gudmundsson equalised with just three minutes of normal time remaining.
Ragnar Klavan, though, scored in injury time as he headed home from close range to give Liverpool a dramatic win and thus extended their unbeaten run to 16 matches.
Victory moved the fourth-placed Reds within a point of third placed Chelsea on 44 points, while Burnley stay in seventh spot.
