Victor Wanyama makes Spurs return

Kenya international Victor Wanyama played in only his third English Premier League game of the season, as Tottenham Hotspur beat Swansea City 2-0 on Tuesday evening.

The 26-year-old had been sidelined by injury since August of last year, but finally made his return; rising off the bench just short of the hour mark in Wales.

Wanyama's return comes as a major boost for Spurs who continue to battle a busy fixture schedule.

Fernando Llorente and Dele Alli found the back of the net for the North London club as they stretched their winning run to three matches.
