Leicester City head coach Claude Puel is confident that Riyad Mahrez will remain at the club until the end of the season.
The Algeria international has been heavily linked with a move away from the King Power Stadium since the Foxes clinched an historic English Premier League crown.
Mahrez, 26, left an Algeria training camp back in August in an attempt to force a move away from the Foxes, but his attempted deadline-day move never materialized; as he was left red-faced once more.
The wing-wizard, though, has continued to light up the stage for the Foxes and has scored seven goals in the league this season, with the club rejuvenated under Puel.
Many of Europe's top clubs have continued to be linked with Mahrez's signature with AS Roma having been heavily tipped with his services in the past.
"I want to keep all my best players and Riyad is an important player in the team for us," Puel is quoted as saying by Goal.
"He is happy with the squad, it is speculation but for me it is no problem. He is happy to play with this team, he enjoys his football and this is the most important thing," he concluded.
