Liverpool are reportedly exploring the prospect of bringing Naby Keita to Anfield in an early move from RB Leipzig.

The Telegraph reports that the Reds are hoping to accelerate the Guinea star’s move from Germany in the wake of losing Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona.

Keita, who has already been signed from Leipzig by the Reds for £57 million, is on loan at the German club.

RBL are determined to retain the midfield dynamo as they seek to qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

However, Liverpool are apparently willing to sweeten the deal to bring the player to England in this transfer window.

“We have never been in a better position in recent times, as a club, to react in the right way," Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said in response to Coutinho's move.
