Ahead of the 2018 CAF African Nations Championship in Morocco, Zambia coach Wedson Nyirenda has named his final 23-man squad.
Nyirenda has handed 20 players an opportunity to make their debuts at the continental showpiece set for locally-based players.
Defender Donashano Malama is one of the players who survived after representing the national side in the 2016 CHAN outing in Rwanda under ex-coach George Lwandamina.
On the other hand, defender Adrian Chama and midfielder Jack Chirwa are also set for their second successive CHAN tournament.
Three players in striker Lazarus Kambole, midfielder Chanda Mushili of Lumwana Radiants and Nkana defender John Mwangeni are set to make their maiden appearances.
Meanwhile, goalkeeper Toaster Nsabata and midfielder Augustine Mulenga will also travel to Morocco after fears the Zanaco duo would be ineligible due to foreign interest for them in the ongoing January transfer window.
The Chipolopolo are in Group B and will play Uganda, Cote d’Ivoire and Namibia. They face the Cranes in their opening group B match on January 14 in Marrakesh.
