Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco has explained that signing Chelsea’s Ghanaian defender Baba Rahman “would be good” for the club.
The club’s CEO Christian Heidel has already revealed that Rahman would like to return to the German team, and Tedesco is certainly keen on the prospect of working with the Black Stars left-back again.
Rahman was on loan at Schalke from Chelsea last season, but returned to the English club just under a year ago following the serious knee injury he sustained while representing his country at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
Tedesco told Kicker: "One player would be good for us, especially Abdul Rahman Baba for the left side.
"He still has an apartment in Gelsenkirchen, knows Schalke and Schalke knows Baba. If we could borrow him from Chelsea for a long time, we would not be averse.
"We are currently clarifying just how far he really is in terms of his football."
