Nigeria international Alex Iwobi has come under fire after a video surfaced which shows the player allegedly partying the day before a big match for Arsenal.
The Sun reports that the Super Eagles attacker partied into the early hours just a day before Arsenal suffered a shock FA Cup defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest this past weekend.
The 21-year-old was filmed dancing in central London, with the time and date claimed to be 2.37am on the morning of Saturday, 6 January. The video was uploaded to Snapchat.
The clip was captioned “Shouldn't Iwobi be sleeping?" and shows the player dancing and singing among a group of people.
However, The Mirror reports that they have not been able to verify exactly when the clip was filmed, casting doubt on the allegations.
Iwobi played the full match on Sunday, 7 January, as the Gunners suffered a 4-2 loss at the hands of Forest at the City Ground.
