Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung has revealed that the Soweto giants are not done in the transfer market.
The Amakhosi on Wednesday afternoon officially unveiled the signings of Leonardo Castro from Mamelodi Sundowns, Siphelele Ntshangase from Baroka FC and Kabelo Mahlasela from Bloemfontein Celtic, while left-back Siphosakhe Ntiya-Ntiya was promoted from the club's youth ranks.
"It's been tough, we have not achieved what we wanted to achieve," Motaung is quoted as saying.
"Our plans are to bolster the squad, we need to assist the technical staff. We have brought in new players and plan to make more signings."
Castro is arguably the club's most lucrative signing with the Colombian having won everything on offer in his time with the Brazilians, and the striker now hopes to bring some of that success to Naturena.
"I feel happy to be here," Castro added. "Thank you for the confidence in me. If you play for a big team you need to win trophies."
Chiefs, who currently occupy fourth spot on the Absa Premiership log standings, next face Polokwane City this coming Saturday.
