Latest reports surrounding the future of Guinea and RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita is that he could join Liverpool this month.

Media reports in England reveal that the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp is planning to sign the Syli Nationale international in January.

However, the Daily Mail reports that the English Premier League side will have to fork out an extra £13 million for the midfielder.

The Reds have already agreed a deal in excess of £50 million for the midfielder and Leipzig may need funds to comply with UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules, should they want him in the current transfer window.

Furthermore, Klopp has been given encouragement that the German Bundesliga side could be willing to let their man go earlier after his form has suffered since the summer.

According to the Mirror website, Klopp is pushed by the £142 million departure of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona and is desperate to land the Guinea international.
