News coming from Egypt is that Al Ahly have contacted their former star Malick Evouna over a possible return to the Red Castle.

According to media reports in the North African country, Ahly have tried to lure the Gabonese international to come back to the Egyptian premier League.

The 25-year-old Gabonese striker is currently on the books of Turkish side Konyaspor, but KingFut understands that the club is looking to terminate his contract.

Evouna initially signed for the Red Devils in July 2015 where he made 35 official appearances, scoring 15 goals to lead Al Ahly to the EPL title.

Furthermore, the Panthers' hitman then moved to Chinese outfit Tianjin Teda after only one season with the Egyptian champions.

He made 10 appearances with the Chinese side scoring just three times, but was transferred to the reserves side.

However, he joined Konyaspor in August 2016 on loan and has since made 17 appearances scoring just one goal.
