PLAYER SPORTLIGHT: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang: Gabonese forward linked with Liverpool switch

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the latest player to be linked with a move to Liverpool.

Riyad Mahrez, Aubameyang and Thomas Lemar are among the names rumoured with a switch to Anfield, following Philippe Coutinho's big money move to Barcelona.

Gabon international, Aubameyang, has scored 21 goals in 23 appearances for Borussia Dortmund this season.

Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and several club's in China have all been linked with securing the 28-year-old's services over the past few months.

Aubameyang, who is considered to be one of the best striker's in world football, has in the past expressed his desire to don the Los Blancos colours, as the forward edges ever closer to Dortmund's goal-scoring record.

The former AS Saint-Étienne speedster has scored 141 goals in 212 appearances for Dortmund across all competitions.
