Arsenal, Liverpool to do battle for Riyad Mahrez

English Premier League rivals Arsenal and Liverpool are set to do battle for the services of Riyad Mahrez.

The Leicester City winger has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield following Philippe Coutinho's big money switch to Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona.

Mahrez, 26, has enjoyed another stellar season for the Foxes and has contributed directly to 16 goals in 24 games across all competitions.

The Gunners have reportedly entered the race for the services of the Algeria international as Alexis Sanchez continues to be linked with a move away from the Emirates in the current transfer window.

Mahrez has also in the past been linked with a move to AS Roma, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
