Borussia Dortmund star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Arsenal will reportedly try and sign Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a replacement for Manchester-bound Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean looks almost certain to join either Manchester United or Manchester City (the former are favourites to land the player at the time of writing) sometime this week, and the Gunners will in turn look to Borussia Dortmund’s speedy attacker.
Aubameyang has made no secret of his desire to leave BVB and seemingly moved closer to an exit when he was left out of their matchday squad on Sunday for ‘disciplinary reasons’. Dortmund drew 0-0 at home to Wolfsburg.
Dortmund boss Peter Stoger told Sky Germany: "He hinted briefly that he had forgotten the appointment, but the meeting was announced everywhere and several times.
"But anyone who knows me is aware that I am not vindictive. He can be back in action next week.”
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague believes the proposed transfers have some truth behind them.
He wrote on Twitter: "Alexis Sanchez not fully agreed yet. United favourites and next 2-3 days key (nobody takes City out of equation yet). Meanwhile Arsenal want to close soon deal for Aubameyang, left out of squad today, for €60m (£53m)."
