PUMA have launched a new soccer boot to be worn by Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann and Mamelodi Sundowns players such as Percy Tau.
Tau’s teammates in George Lebese and Themba Zwane will also don the new boot as they kicked-off the second half of the South African Absa Premiership.
The global sports manufacturer released the news last weekend as they unveiled their latest offering in a new FUTURE 18.1 NETFIT FG with adaptable NETFIT technology.
In a statement to the media, PUMA said they are kicking off 2018 in style with the reveal of their latest football boot.
“The FUTURE 18.1 NETFIT FG with adaptable NETFIT technology for infinite lacing options and comfort to be worn by Antoine Griezmann and local stars Percy Tau, Themba Zwane and George Lebese,” said PUMA.
“This lightweight boot initially designed for running has been taken to New Levels with a RAPIDAGILITY outsole allowing for high speeds on the break and 100% acceleration.
“Available in fizzy yellow-red blast this knockout of a boot has an evoKNIT sock and form-fitted textile base providing the ultimate support for top on-pitch performance and agility.
“NETFIT technology provides infinite lacing options for any foot, lock-down or style need for a purely individual fit. The boot drops in store on February 1 2018 at PUMA Stores and selected retailers nationwide.
“FUTURE is the first football boot with a truly customisable fit. NETFIT technology allows the wearer to lace their boots any way they want in order to fit perfectly, no matter the foot shape or lock-down need.”
