News coming from Zimbabwe is that Premier League side Chicken Inn FC are set to unveil a new coach in Joey Antipas.
The former AmaZulu coach is set to take over from Rahman Gumbo, whose contract expired last month and was not renewed.
Antipas led Usuthu in the South African National First Division, but was replaced by Cavin Johnson after they bought Premier Soccer League status at the beginning of the current campaign.
Antipas is set to make his return to the GameCocks where he won the league title in 2015 before his move to South Africa.
According to the club’s secretary, Tavengwa Hara, he confirmed the unveiling ceremony of the coach is on Monday, but would not give details of the other appointments.
Antipas has also coached the Warriors national team, has won two championships locally with the now-defunct Motor Action in 2010 before his success with Chicken Inn.
