Morocco coach Jamal Sellami says his team must “keep their feet on the ground” at the 2018 African Nations Championship.

The Atlas Lions opened the CHAN tournament with an emphatic 4-0 win over Mauritania on Saturday night and will return to action tomorrow when they face Guinea in their second Group A clash.

Despite the healthy score line, Sellami believes his team have plenty of room for improvement as they continue through the tournament.

“The Mauritanian team includes some excellent players who could have hurt us any time," Sellami explained.

The former Morocco national team player added, "We are still waiting for five tough games to win to reach our goal."

The coach has urged his player not to think too far ahead and focus on each game as it arrives.

"The three points of this match will be very decisive for the rest of the adventure," he explained.

"We must keep our feet on the ground, consult each other in full and not to To project too much into the future.”
