Botswana’s BTC Premiership side Orapa United have confirmed the signing of striker Jerome Ramatlhakwana.
The forward has joined United during the current transfer window and has already impressed the club’s technical team.
He has netted a brace in the Ostriches’ thrilling 4-4 draw against Sharps Shooting Stars on Tuesday night in the league.
“A smooth welcome to Jerome Ramatlhakwana as he shines on his debut match against Sharps Shooting Stars. We are looking forward to seeing more of him in action,” said the club.
The new striker will hope to shine as United are preparing for their highly anticipated Mascom Top 8 semi-final first leg clash against Gaborone United on February 03 at the National Stadium.
However, they will first face meet Jwaneng Galaxy FC in the league on Tuesday, January 30, at Itekeng Stadium.
“We have to be more united that they are. They have won it twice, we have won it only once,” announced the side.
“So we're more hungry and thirsty for a win, let’s rally behind our boys and support their way to victory.”
