Manchester United’s Ivorian defender Eric Bailly is recovering well after undergoing surgery on his ankle last month.
The 23-year-old Elephants centre-back has been sidelined since early November after picking up the knock while on international duty.
United manager Jose Mourinho revealed that the club initially opted for conservative treatment on the injury, but ultimately Bailly underwent surgery and has been ruled out until March.
Yet there is good news in terms of the player’s recovery, with United teammate Ander Herrera posting a video of Bailly working out in a pool on his Instagram page.
The centre-back will hope to make a quicker-than-expected return to the team and help the Red Devils as they look to continue fighting in the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.
