Sudan and Morocco battle for top spot

Sudan will lock horns with Morocco in their 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Group A game at the Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 21h00 CAT.

The Falcons of Jediane defeated Mauritania 1-0 in their previous group match which was played in Casablanca on Wednesday.

As a result, Sudan, who are coached by Logarusic Zdravko Hrvatsko, are placed second on the Group A table with six points from two games.

They have already booked their place in the knockout stages of the continent competition.

Meanwhile, Morocco thrashed Guinea 3-1 in their previous group game which was played in Casablanca on Wednesday.

The Atlas Lions, who are under the guidance of Jamal Sellami, are sitting at the top of the Group A standings with six points from two games.

The tournament hosts have also booked their place in the quarter-finals.
