Latest reports suggest that former Bidvest Wits forward Phakamani Mahlambi could well be on his way back to South Africa during the current transfer window.
The 20-year-old has struggled for game time since his move to Egyptian giants Al Ahly in September last year, and was left out of the club's 22-man CAF Champions League squad - indicating that he could well be on his way out of the Cairo-club.
According to KickOff.com, Mahlambi could move on loan to a club in either Saudi Arabia or South Africa with the seven-time African champions seeking a more experienced player in his postion.

"Yes, there is a possibility that Phakamani could go out on loan, but it is only for him to get game-time and gain more experience," Mahlambi's agent Glyn Binkin told Kick-Off.com.
Mahlambi has racked up seven appearances in the league this season, contributing with two assists.
