Chelsea’s Nigeria star Victor Moses says his first Premier League goal of the 2017/18 season was long overdue.
The Super Eagles flyer netted the Blues’ final goal in an emphatic 4-0 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday, his first in the English top flight this campaign.
The 27-year-old has netted against 14 different Premier League teams in his career: Brighton, Burnley, Leicester, Tottenham, Man City, West Ham, Aston Villa, Everton, Swansea, West Brom, Stoke, Norwich, Newcastle and Hull City
“It’s about time, I was due one and I’m very pleased to get on the scoresheet,” Moses told Chelsea’s official website.
“It’s important to me and I want to keep on helping the team, working hard and hopefully score more goals in the future.”
Moses’ first PL goal came against Hull City while he was playing for Wigan Athletic in the 2009/10 season. He has scored 18 goals in 207 top flight appearances.
