Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of Ugandan winger Allan Kateregga.
The player joins from Congolese side AC Leopards, having been on loan at KCCA.
The 23-year-old will serve as a replacement for Aubrey Ngoma, whom the Citizens sold to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.
"I sat with Benni and we discussed the need for a left-footed playmaker and winger that could add something unique going forward," City boss John Comitis is quoted by the club's Twitter page.
"There were a few options for us in the market, but once Benni saw Kateregga play he basically just simply said 'this is the one'."
The Ugandan is City’s fourth signing in the January transfer window, joining Bradley Ralani, Masoud Juma and Kwanda Mngonyama.
