SuperSport United midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane says they will miss their former striker Jeremy Brockie.
The New Zealand international completed his switch to neighbours Mamelodi Sundowns on a five-year deal last week.
‘Yeye’ recalls the ‘Sniper’ as one of the best players to ever play for Amatsantsantsa, saying his finishing touch is what they will miss as a club.
"Jeremy is a good player. He scored crucial goals for us. He is a good person and we will definitely miss him as a player and as a person, but you know in football we part ways to meet again in future," he said to Kick-Off.
“He got an opportunity to play somewhere else and I am happy for him and I wish him the best of luck. Life goes on, so we still need to do our jobs on the pitch.
"He’s not fancy, he’s a finisher. He positions himself properly and has a good technique when it comes to kicking the ball.
"Like I said we will miss him, but we must carry on with the job.”
Brockie made his debut for the Brazilians when they beat Platinum Stars 3-0 last weekend and will be hoping to find the back of the net for his new club sooner rather than later.
Coach Pitso Mosimane will lead his players to the FNB Stadium this Saturday as they visit Kaizer Chiefs in the Absa Premiership.
