English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion and Zamalek have agreed to a deal involving defender Ali Gabr.

The White Knights’ defender is expected to be unveiled by the Baggies in the next few days after both parties reached an understanding on the player.

According to Goal.com, Zamalek boss Mortada Mansour has confirmed that the Egyptian Premier League outfit has reached an agreement with West Bromwich over the transfer of Gabr.

“Zamalek will receive €500,000. Their first offer was for €200,000,” Mansour said to OnSport.

The defender will team up with the EPL on a loan deal until the end of the season with an option to make the deal permanent.

Having formed an integral part of the Pharaohs team that qualified Egypt for their first FIFA World Cup in Russia since 1990, the defender will relish the opportunity to play in the EPL.
