Although they are eliminated from the 2018 African Nations Championship tournament, Cameroon coach Rigobert Song will make changes against Burkina Faso in their last match.

The Indomitable Lions will face the Burkinabe in their final Group D clash on Wednesday night in an aim to claim their first win.

Cameroon failed to reach the knockout stages for the first time when their hopes were ended after two losses in the opening matches to Congo and Angola.

“It is true that we are eliminated but we remain in the competition. We have to come out with honor. This is the last game, the players are ready, they know that this is not the time to let go,” said Song.

“They are convinced that we have to go home with something, it’s a game where we have nothing to lose. It is not necessary that there is an upheaval. We need to win against Burkina Faso,

“We do not doubt other players who have not played yet but remain competitive. I have planned some changes, but the goal is not to upset everything.

“It’s true that we lose games but we are not ridiculous. We lose matches by penalty. Already Junior Awono is suspended, so there will be slight changes.“
