Ajax Cape Town forward Yannick Zakri could make his debut for the club this coming Friday, with the Parow-based outfit confident that his work permit will be secured in time for Free State Stars' visit.

The Urban Warriors will be desperate to return to winning ways when they welcome Ea Lla Koto to Cape Town Stadium, with the club currently languishing at the wrong end of the log standings.

"This is a good move for me and I am very happy to be here" said Zakri at Ikamva on Wednesday.

"We have a lot of talented players here and I trust my teammates that we can get out of this situation. I’ve seen Ajax play and I know they play nice football. They miss some experience right now and I want to add that to the team.

Zakri continued: "Now I have a new family and I just want to do my best. I trust the coach and I want to help the team. We just have to take it game by game, and everything will come right.”

The 26-year-old Ivory Coast international officially joined Ajax Cape Town on-loan from Absa Premiership rivals Mamelodi Sundowns this month.
