Nigeria captain John Obi Mikel is reportedly on the verge of signing for Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Turkish news portal Sabah reported over the weekend that the 30-year-old was set to sign a contract which runs to June 2020 and is worth €3-million per year.
This follows a year in the Chinese Super League with Tianjin TEDA, where Mikel had a season which was disrupted by injury.
Fenerbahce manager Aykut Kocaman will reportedly replace Ozan Tufan - who looks set for a move away from the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium - with the Super Eagles player.
And the move should be a great benefit to Mikel, giving him a higher level of football to sharpen his skills ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
