Nigeria and Yatai Changchun striker Odion Ighalo is on the verge of completing his move back to the English Premier League.
According to media reports, Ighalo could sign for Stoke City and leave the Chinese Super League, and the move could happen before the end of the current transfer window.
The 28-year-old Super Eagles international left Watford for Changchun this time last year, for a fee believed to be in the region of £20 million.
During his stay in the CSL, he has enjoyed a successful spell whilst netting 15 goals in 27 outings thus far.
SkyBET suggests that the Potters could make a surprising move for Ighalo, saying they have a high percentage of chance in the race to sign former Hornets man.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup-bound striker impressed during his time in the EPL, scoring 36 goals in 90 league appearances for Watford and proved that he could cope with the physicality of the English game.
Moreover, SkyBET believe that the Nigerian could be heading to Stoke, and list them as 8/1 to sign him, with the Potters becoming favourites ahead of Brighton and Hove Albion and West Brom at 12/1.
Although Changchun fans will want to see their marksman staying put, Stoke fans will also keep a very close eye on the news considering the clock ticking against the move.
