Algerian midfielder Sofiane Hanni is closing in on a move from Anderlecht to Spartak Moscow.
According to France Football, the clubs have been in contact and it should only be a matter of time before the 27-year-old signs on the dotted line.
Hanni will leave Anderlecht on a good note, having scored a hat-trick for the club in their 3-3 draw away to Standar Liege on Sunday.
Le Buteur reports that Hanni flew to Rome on Monday to have a medical for Spartak and the transfer will be worth an estimated €5.5million.
Hanni spoke on his future on Sunday following his heroics for Anderlecht: “There is interest from several clubs,” he admitted.
“I'm not used to the winter [transfer market]. Maybe having scored three goals today will alert the clubs (laughs).
“I've always been told that clubs are waiting for the last hours to get the players signed. We'll see.
“For now, I'm here. My head is in Anderlecht and if something happens, we'll see.”
