Swansea City’s Sam Clucas has hailed Ghanaian forward Jordan Ayew after the pair shared three goals in a Premier League victory over Arsenal on Tuesday night.
The Swans claimed a vital 3-1 victory at the Liberty Stadium, with Clucas scoring in the 34th and 86th minutes, while Ayew netted in the 61st.
"We felt we could play a bit more, Arsenal give you a bit more time than Liverpool," Clucas said, comparing this win to his team’s surprise victory over the Reds last week.
"I thought we deserved the win,” he added, before praising his Ghanaian teammate.
"Jordan Ayew has been brilliant. The last two games he's been up there on his own. I thought we were ruthless in the second half. It's a massive result win. Every win breeds confidence."
The three points saw the Swans move out of the relegation zone, though the bottom three below them all have a game in hand to be played tonight.
