The Senegal international has reportedly signed a new five-year deal with English club Everton FC which is worth £4million per a season.
Papers which were lodged with the English Football Association (FA) on October 27, officials documents have revealed this according to the latest reports.
The English governing body lists contract updates throughout the season including high-profile renegotiations such as those of Demarai Gray at Leicester or Angel Gomes at Manchester United.
The Sun had revealed Gueye had signed a new deal on the same day the documents were lodged.
The central midfielder has established himself as one of Everton’s key players.
Everton are said to be looking to ward off interest in Gueye from their English Premier League rivals.
According to The Sun, his fresh terms saw his wages smash through the £75,000-a-week barrier, with Everton wanting Gueye’s future settled.
The 28-year-old joined Everton from English side Aston Villa in August, 2016 when his buyout clause of £7.1million was met.
He has made 20 league appearances for Everton this season having scored once in the process.
