Media reports in Egypt indicate that national team midfielder Aly Ghazal is spending his pre-season training in Hawaii and is already talking with the Pharaohs coach, Hector Cuper.
The international player is currently engaging the Argentine coach regarding the upcoming matches for Egypt in March.
At the age of 25, Ghezzal will want to represent his country at the upcoming global showpiece in Russia and has started talking to Cuper.
As the MLS is about to kick-off by the beginning of March, all squads have started their preparations and Vancouver Whitecaps’ Ghazal has shared the current methodology of training.
“Everybody is working hard doing their job, everyone on the team is hoping to play and I believe that competition is a very good thing for us for all the season,” said Ghazal.
“We are currently working on both tactics and physical training, but we are more focused on physical training to get back to shape and work out the tactics.
“They are all nice guys, they are great on and off the pitch and that is what we need, to be like a family so we can show our best.
“There are fixtures for the national team next March and I am currently talking with the coach (Cuper), so hopefully I will join them in the next camp, I am working on it.
“It means everything to me if I could join the squad to the World Cup, it is a chance that might never come again.”
