As the countdown to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia is underway, Senegal star Sadio Mane said they will fight to reach the knockout stages.
The Liverpool attacker is set to be key for the Lions of Teranga as he will also want to make a name for himself at a global stage.
Senegal will face Poland, Colombia and Japan in Group H in June and the 25-year-old insists they want to go beyond the group stages.
Also known as the Smiling Assassin, Mane compared his national team coach Aliou Cisse to his coach at Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp.
"I don't think there are too many differences. Cisse also likes the attack, presses high, and he also can motivate players,” said Mane.
"He (Cisse) trusts his pros, and this is what makes for the good atmosphere in the dressing room.
"Klopp is a very good coach. He loves his players, helps them. He betters them all the time. His work is admirable. This makes me happy.
"He has all the qualities of a great coach. He's a motivator and I enjoy his training sessions. He always wants the maximum
"I think it's one of the most difficult groups (FIFA World Cup). They are all big nations, but everything's possible in football.
"We want to survive the group stages, and then make it as far as possible."
