Harry Maguire says Leicester City’s players hold no grudge against Algerian Riyad Mahrez and will welcome him back into the team.
Mahrez missed this past weekend’s draw with Swansea and has stayed away from training in the wake of a failed transfer to Manchester City.
Defender Maguire insists the Foxes’ players hold no grudge against the want-away attacker and will be happy to have him back in the fold.
He said: "The boys will welcome Riyad back and he's no doubt one of our best players.
"It's for him, his agent and the club to deal with, but we would welcome him back."
Leicester manager Claude Puel says he will “reassess Riyad when he clears his head".
