Leicester City reportedly rejected Manchester City’s Yaya Toure and Eliaquim Mangala as part of the failed transfer deal for Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian very nearly completed a big-money move to the Citizens last week, but the deal fell through when the Premier League leaders failed to match Leicester’s valuation of the player.
In the English media it has already been revealed that City refused Leicester's request for winger Patrick Roberts, currently on-loan with Celtic, to be included in their offer for Mahrez.
And France Football has now added further details, claiming that Leicester were demanding €80-90m for Mahrez, but were willing to listen to cash-plus-player(s) offers.
City responded by offering Ivory Coast legend Yaya Toure and French defender Eliaquim Mangala (who ended up on loan at Everton) in part exchange, but Leicester rejected the proposal.
Mahrez has since stayed away from training at the Foxes and is reportedly depressed at having missed out on a transfer for a second successive window.
