Cameroonian striker Vincent Aboubakar continues to be the subject of transfer speculation, with Premier League side West Ham United now linked with a move for the Porto player.

The Hammers, according to Portuguese media outlet O Jogo, sent scouts to watch Aboubakar and teammate Yacine Brahimi in Porto’s 3-1 win over Sporting Braga last weekend.

The scouts were probably left impressed by the duo, with Algerian Brahimi pulling the strings as a playmaker for 80 minutes before he was replaced by Ghanaian Majeed Waris, while Aboubakar scored his team’s third goal.

The Indomitable Lions striker has now netted 15 times in 21 Primeira Liga appearances and looks set to fire Porto to the league title.

The team in blue and white hold a two-point lead at the top of the log over rivals Benfica and Sporting Lisbon - and they have a game in hand.

This weekend, Aboubakar is set to lead the line again when Porto play away to Chaves, while next midweek the Portuguese team will host Liverpool for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League knockout tie.
