Zambian striker Brian Mwila’s future with Platinum Stars remains under a cloud of controversy after returning home in December.

Media reports in the country suggested that the forward was training with Buildcon FC in January as he was eyeing a trial in Europe.

It was also reported that he sneaked out of the country to Russia for trials, but is now back in Zambia.

A source familiar with the development told the Zambian website that Mwila is unlikely to return to Dikwena due to administrative issues.

“He’s back in Lusaka and the next move will be revealed over the next couple of days,” the source said.

Although Buildcon are speculated to be front runners to secure his services, he joined Stars from Green Buffaloes last August where he is yet to score a goal and played less than six games following a raft of injuries.

Mwila was Zambia’s top scorer in 2017 with eight goals from nine appearances for his country. CLICK HERE TO VISIT AFRICAN FOOTBALL ZAMBIA
