Following his switch to the South African Premier Soccer League giants Orlando Pirates, Zambian striker Augustine Mulenga says he will join his new side on Monday.
Mulenga is expected to link up with his new teammates in the Absa Premiership on Monday and will miss the Nedbank Cup Last 32 match on Saturday against Ajax Cape Town.
The 28-year-old impressed the Soweto giants as he was one of Zambia’s best performers at the 2018 CAF African Nations Championship tournament in Morocco.
According to the Zambian Football website, the Chipolopolo international was spotted at Sunset Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
“I will be going to South Africa on Monday. And I am looking forward to being part of the Pirates family,” the wing wizard told the ZamFoot Crew.
The 2017 Zambian Player of Year has been keeping in shape with his former club, Zanaco FC and will follow Zambian players such as Collins Mbesuma, Isaac Chansa and Denis Lota who previously donned the Buccaneers shirt.
However, he will reunite with his current national team teammate Justin Shonga, a player he has known since their days at Edwin Imboela Stadium.
