CAF Confederation Cup: Preliminary round 1st-leg preview

The 2018 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round first-leg games will take place on this weekend across the African continent.

The first match took place on Friday with Malian side Onze Createurs (Mali) drawing 1-1 with Algerian side CR Belouizdad at the Stade Omnisports Modibo Keïta.

On Saturday, Petro Luanda of Angola will host Malawian outfit Masters Security at the Estádio 11 de Novembro, while South African club Cape Town City will take on Swaziland's Young Buffaloes at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

Botswana side Jwaneng Galaxy, who are making their first appearance in the Confederation Cup, will lock horns with Mozambican club Costa Do Sol at the Estadio do Zimpeto.

Akwa Utd of Nigeria will face off with Gambian side Hawks at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Sunday, while Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko will host Congo-Brazzaville of Congo at the Baba Yara Stadium
