Rangers International striker Godwin Zaki is hoping to score his first goal for his new club against El-Kanemi Warriors on Sunday.

The marksman has called for patience from the Rangers fans against the backdrop of his inability to open his goals’ account at his new club.

“I must confess that I am not satisfied with my lack of goals this season," Zaki said on the NPFL website.

"But I have to say that this weekend, there shall be a turnaround for the best as I hope to open my goals account for the season.

Zaki explained why he has not scored for the Flying Antelopes with seven matches played in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

“I think I know what is wrong with my game. It has been challenging for me since the start of the season.

"But I trust my God to open my account against El-Kanemi if fielded by my coaches.”
