Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has rejected the notion that his side won’t be the same without Ivory Coast winger Wilfried Zaha.
The Elephants attacker faces a month out of action after suffering a knee injury against Newcastle United last weekend.
Mauricio Pochettino criticised his Manchester City counterpart Pep Guardiola for calling Tottenham “the Harry Kane team", and Hodgson feels the same way in regards to Palace and the influence of Zaha.
“I'd find it a lot more insulting if I was a player than a manager," he said.
“I just think it's a stupid comment and a comment from people who obviously don't realise what playing at Premier League level in a football team is about."
