Bidvest Wits coach Gavin Hunt has revealed his anxiety over their squad for the CAF Champions League.
The South African champions appear to be in good shape in their preliminary round tie, having beaten Mauritius side Pamplemousses 2-0 at home in the first leg this past weekend.
The return game is set for Belle Vue Maurel next week Wednesday, but Hunt has admitted he is worried by the decreasing player options at his disposal
"Two-nil is always a dangerous scoreline, and we've got the problem of having lost another player [Thabang Monare] from our CAF squad," Hunt told Kick-Off.
"We might only have 14 or 15 guys going to Mauritius, because Keegan Ritchie is obviously out after he got sent off. So it's a bit of a problem at the moment.
"We have depth in training but we only have 23 players registered for CAF, and Daine Klate and Elias Pelembe are also out, so numbers are dwindling there.
"We can't use everybody because a couple haven't been registered yet, so we'll try and get through this round and see from there."
The Clever Boys coach added, "We want to get through, but we know the conditions there won't be good and the pitch won't be the best, but we do want to do well and get through.
"Last year we should have gotten through, we were very unlucky. But then again, you can't have everything. Our squad was very stretched last year, and we're the same this year."
