Wilfried Zaha in Dubai for injury recovery

Crystal Palace have sent Ivorian winger Wilfried Zaha to Dubai to help his recovery from a knee injury.

The 25-year-old suffered the knock in Palace’s 1-1 draw with Newcastle United earlier this month.

It was initially feared he would be out of action for up to six weeks, but Palace are hopeful he will heal quickly and they have sent on him a warm-weather trip to Dubai for rest and recovery.

Zaha took to Instagram to post a photo of himself lapping up the sunshine in the UAE.

Palace are currently locked in a relegation battle which sees them placed 15th in the Premier League, just one point above the red zone.
