Everton's Idrissa Gueye (L) in action against Liverpool's Roberto Firmino (R)

The 28-year-old was substituted in the closing stages of an English Premier League match between his club, Everton and Crystal Palace.
Everton thrashed Palace 3-1 at the Goodison Park in Liverpool with Gueye’s Senegal team-mate scoring once for the Toffees last weekend .
Sam Allardcye, the Everton head coach, revealed that Gueye was also replaced due to an injury.
However, the central midfielder’s 80th-minute withdrawal for Morgan Schneiderlin was a case of the boss erring on the side on caution, rather than anything more sinister.
Allardyce explained why he made the change as he replaced Idrissa with another central midfielder Schneiderlin.
“Surprised, very surprised. I’ve not heard it before. He is a very important part of the squad this year. Lots of players haven’t played to the potential they have,” he told the media after the game.
”I don’t understand it and I never will, booing your own player. The bottom line is that Gana was feeling his hamstring, and his quad and Cuco was feeling his hamstring as well so I asked Wayne who he thought was feeling better.
”Gana was struggling a bit so Morgan went on, which was better for us. Had we brought Cuco off, we didn’t have any defenders left on the bench and at 3-1 they could’ve popped another one in and I think we coped massively well in already losing two defenders today in Mangala and Coleman.”
Gueye and his Everton team-mates will take on Watford FC in their next league game which is scheduled to be played at the Vicarage Road on Saturday, the 24th of February 2018.
