New West Bromwich Albion defender Ali Gabr has received his work permit in the English Premier League and is ready to make his debut.
The Egyptian international recently completed his switch to the EPL from Zamalek for a fee of €500,000 with an option to buy.
His move is identical to the one which saw his Pharaohs teammate Ahmed Hegazi join the Baggies.
The defender missed the Baggies games against Manchester City, Southampton United and Chelsea in the league due to permit issues.
The player is expected to be included in the squad for West Brom’s next clash against Southampton in the fifth round of the FA Cup on 17 February before hosting Huddersfield in the Premier League on Saturday, 24 February.
In other news, the Baggies have parted ways with club chairman John Williams and chief executive Martin Goodman following a spate of poor results.
On the log table, the Baggies are at the bottom of the league table with only 20 points.
