As they prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in June, Egypt will face Belgium in an international friendly in May.
According to an Egyptian Football Association’s board member, Mohamed Aboul-Waffa, he confirmed that the Pharaohs have reached an agreement to play Belgium in a friendly.
The match will occur as part of the last training camp before the World Cup in Russia, where Egypt will also play Kuwait.

Aboul-Waffa said the EFA are working on securing a third match in the last training camp scheduled for May.
Egyptian media reports suggest that a training camp will take place in March where it is already confirmed Greece and Portugal will also face off against Egypt.
The March training camp will take place in Switzerland whereas the location of the May camp is yet to be announced.
Egypt and Belgium have met twice before, both in friendlies and the last encounter was in 2005 and Egypt won with a comfortable score of 4-0.
