Egyptian Premier League side Maqassa have named a new coach as they want to rescue their CAF Champions League campaign.
The club has announced Talaat Youssef as their new coach on Saturday to save their continental dream after a defeat in the first leg of the preliminary round.
Maqassa caused an upset last season by finishing second in the Egyptian Premier League, but suffered a 2-0 defeat against Senegal's Generation Foot earlier this month in a preliminary Champions League match.
The loss puts the club at risk of an early elimination on their debut in Africa's premier club competition.
The Champions League loss came at the back of a poor domestic run which prompted the club to sack coach Emad Soliman.
Youssef left Smouha to take charge of Maqassa on a one-and-a-half year deal and becomes Maqassa's third manager of the season after Moemen Soliman and Emad Soliman.
They host Generation Foot in the second leg of the Champions League preliminary round this week.
